It is a beautiful place to visit. Different efforts have been made to preserver this Maraghar Simasar. It is one of the travel destination in Nepal.  It is also popular for birds watching. Different species of birds are found here. Some birds migrate here from season to season. Specially birds migrate here in winter season as weather in this place is not freezing. Birds find warm temperature here.  In this wetland you'll also find different species of local fish. It is good in taste and also healthy for the body. You may also find people fishing here. Unwanted grass which fills the lake has been removed.

 Martyr Netralal passed away in Lamhi municipality ward no. 1 Narti and Netralal Park (नेत्रलाल पार्क) is build in his memory in this place. On behalf of the Lumbini state government, arrangements were made for a picnic spot, welcome gate, a reception hall and drinking water management in the park area at a cost of 20 lakhs.
